- LIM KIM HUI
- LIM KIM HUI was born in Ayer Hitam, Kedah, Malaysia. He obtained his B.A (Hons.)in 1988 and M.A in 1994 from University of Malaya. His PhD was obtained from Universitaet Hamburg, Germany in 2002. So far, Lim has published several books, namely Kembara Fikir di Tanah Senja (anthology of poems, 2007), Globalisasi, Media dan Budaya: Antara Hegemoni Barat dengan Kebangkitan Asia (co-authored with Har Wai Mun, 2007) and Pemikiran Retorik Barat: Sebuah Pengantar Sejarah (2007). His selected creative work, especially poems have also been published in books such as Kasih Sayang (1988), Menara 2 (1989), Surat dari Kuala Lumpur (1990), Notelun Hidup (1991), Suara Anak Merdeka (1992), Di Dunia Permata (1993), Tanpa Mengira Warna (1993), Sungai Kasih (1994), Gema Membelah Gema II (1994), Suara Kemanusiaan (1994) dan Puyan Jelepek (1995). He has worked as a lecturer and research fellow at Universiti Kebangsaan Malaysia from 1994 to 2010, and is currently a Professor at the Department of Malay-Indonesian Studies, Hankuk University of Foreign Studies, Seoul.
